The remote control is simple mechanism and will be found to be relatively trouble-freeSee Figure 8-1It may occasionally be necessary, however, to disassemble the remote control to check the operation of the push button switchProceed as follows: aDisconnect batteryRemove side platebDisconnect throttle cable from control box by removing casing guide from throttle leverRemove control cable from housingcDetach remote control from boatdRemove choke switch
