aMomentarily short the purple clipper lead to housing of clipper circuitbRelease purple lead and connect Ohmmeter as shown in Figure CcIf meter reads greater than 300 ohms, proceed to step 5dIf meter reads less than 300 ohms or if pointer moves toward zero ohms and returns to infinite ohms, replace clipperSTEP5
