REASSEMBLY OF EXHAUST HOUSING AND ADAPTER
aIf removed, install water tubes using new grommetsBe sure tubes are aligned properlybInstall lower rubber mount in exhaust housing and secure with retainer plate, screws and lockwashersSee Figure 6-10cSlide inner exhaust housing up through outer exhaust housingdApply Perfect Seal #4 to faces of adapter and exhaust tubeUsing new inner exhaust housing gasket, attach housing to adapterSee Figure 6-10eInstall upper rubber mount and attach adapter to outer exhaust housing, use Permatex #2 between adapter and housingLonger screws are used at front of rubber mountSee Figure 6-11fReassemble exhaust housing and adapter to pivot shaft assembly and tighten all screws to torque specified in Section 2Install thermostat assembly to adapter using new gasket
