jApply OMC Type "A" lubricant to handle end of rope Using Starter Rope Threading Tool (Special Tool #378774), thread rope handleSee Figure 8-10Press rope into channel in rope anchor, with end of rope butting firmly against end of channelkPress rope anchor into handleRemove knot and allow rope to wind up on pulley1Pull the starter rope to make sure pawls work properlyWhen the starter rope is pulled, the pawls should pivot out to engage the flywheel ratchetOn releasing the rope, the pawls should retract to their starting positions
