DESCRIPTION
The Hydro- Electric Shift remote control unit is comprised of com bination throttle and gearshift selection lever, starting and ignition switch, choke switch, motor temperature warning light and warm -up speed control leverSee Figur 8-1REVERSE
An electric toggle swit ch is activated when the control lever is moved from Neutral to eithe Forward or Reverse positions This action completes the ele ctrical circuit nergizing the neutral and reverse solenoid coils in the gearcaseFor description of gearcase operation see Section 6A control cable connected between the remote conlrol lever and the throttle control at the motor opens the throttle alter the desired gearshirt circuit is selectedA fricti on adjustment is provided to hold the gearshift and throttle leve in any given engine speed position
