NOTE Always use new gaskets throughout when eassembling the power headPISTONS, WRIST PINS, AND CONNECTING RODS aThe differe nce between port and tarboard cylinders must be considered when assembling pistons to rodsPis tons must be installed in cylinders with intake side of defl ector toward intake port Oil hole in connecting rod must be toward top of motorSee Figures 5-29 and 5-31bApply coat of oil to wrist pin, making sure urface is cleana drop or two of oil in each pin hole in the pistonPlace
