dBake in oven at 230F for 12 hour, or apply Locquic primer "N" before tightening screws and cure for hourseInstall bronze bearing in forward gearfInstall clutch hub to gear and springInstall the retaining ring lettered side up
aAssemble spacer and clutch spring into gear as shown in Figure 6-31Be sure spring engages gearIn the event that the bronze bearing becomes cocked on the hub, do not force assemblyhApply needle bearing grease to rear clutch hub bearing surface and place 40 needles around the hubNOTE With the 40 needles in place, slight gap between the first and last needle is normaliInstall the sleeve over the spring with the flanged end facing the coiljAssemble the hub and gear and install the retaining ring
