dNote the differences between forward and reverse clutch hub assembliesThe forward clutch hub is knurled to provide positive engagement, while the reverse clutch hub is smooth, since the greater percentage motor operation is in forward gear and the reverse hub and then turning in opposite directionsAlso note that the forward drive gear rides bushing while the reverse drive gear rides needle bearings, again because most operation is in forward gearThese parts the electric shift assembly should not substituted nor interchanged Tighten set screw closest to the the spring firstTighten screws and following the spring the way it is woundTorque screws as specified in Section 2See Figure 6-40Bake in oven at 230 for 1 hourat temperature for 12 hours apply Locquic primer "N" before tightening screws and hours
