ADJUSTING LOW-SPEED NEEDLES
Remove low:-speed adjusting knobs and replace upside down low-speed needle valves to clear stops carburetoreach needle gently into its seat, then back out turn
Start engine

AHow engine to reach normal operating temperature running in tank with test at one-half throttle slightly before proceeding to next step
ARM SPRING
With engine in gear, briefly at fuH throttle to clear crankcase and cylindersRetard throttle to fast idle position (700 to 750 Slowly lean low-speed needle valve turning clockwise til engine hesitates spits slightly; then enrich needle valve turning counterclockwise until motor runs fastest and smoothest performance is obtained
