CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENTS THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT
If throttle does not close, either the throttle return spring is too weak and should replaced, or the throttle or linkage is binding
check throttle adjustment, advance throttle control so that mark throttle is in line with projection intake manifoldSee Figure 3-19At this point, the throttle valve should closed, t?e follower roller must touch If not, ad]ust as follows: Advance throttle control until mark armature plate is in line with raised projection carburetor manifoldSee Figure 3-19dLoosen throttle arm clamp screwMake sure that throttle valve is in closed position, the follower roller must touch and tighten screw See Figure 3-20 Throttle valve should just begin to after mark passes projection intake manifold as throttle is advancedfadjust throttle to conserve fuel at cruising speed, move armature base hand to fuH spark advance, without touching throttle control Adjust control rod collar for 132 inch clearance from pivot pinSee insert, Figure 3-20
