Set gear shift lever in neutral
With gear shift in neutral, turn speed control grip until magneto stop butts against shifter lock
dPush the lock link against the locking lever just far enough to cause the end of locking lever to clear the stop lugs the starter See Figure 9- 2Draw collar screw to hold the control rodtight
