bRemove air inlet shieldcDrain the carburetor by removing the plugs from the four float chambersSee Figure 3-8dDisconnect fuel line at carburetorSee Figure 3-9eDisconnect solenoid wire at Packard terminalfDisconnect heat exchanger tube at automatic choke housing
gRemove the ten screws holding carburetor and leaf plate to manifoldRemove the carburetor and leaf plate assembly, taking care to avoid damaging the leaf plateSee Figure 3-9
