AHARD STARTING
Check the fuel level in the fuel tank
f-, No fuel in the tank -.1
Add fuel and restart the engine
Check for collapsed or pinched fuel line Check for clogged fuel tank breather hole: Close the tank and open the vent knob, listen for hiss Check for air leaks past the primer bulbLoosen the carburetor drain screw to Fuel flow restricted- -.1 Squeeze the primer bulb and be sure see if there is fuel in the float bowlthat the fuel is reaching the carburetor Check for clogged fuel filter and Fuel flows freelyconnector Check fuel connectors
Remove the spark plug and check for wet fouled electrode
Fuel pump faulty
Check for portnozzle
clogged
carburetor
Attach the plug cap and ground the electrodePull the recoil starter and check for sparks CAUTION: Do not check near the plug hole
