7) Clean the crankcase cover and cylinder block mating surfaces with degreasing cleaning agent or clean shop towel8) Apply liquid sealant (Three Bond 1280B) to the position shown on the crankcase coverApply beads of sealant about 1.0 (0.04 in) in diameterAssemble the crankcase side cover within minutes after application of the liquid sealantWait for 20 minutes after assemblyDo not add oil or start the engine during this period
