BUSHING
INSTALLATION
Install the two 10 dowel pins on the gear caseXL type only: Apply marine grease the inside of the vertical shaft bushing and set the two dowel pins on the extension separatorSet the extension separator onto the gear case

- spline of the vertical shaft
Apply marine grease to the following position:
EXTENSION SEPARATOR
- inside of the water tube seal4) Install the gear case assembly by aligning the vertical shaft spline with the crankshaft, and water tube with the water tube seal
