6) Install new fuel filter with the filter suspension attached so the arrow mark on the filter suspension points toward the fuel pump side

7) Connect the fuel tubes and remove the hose clips8) Connect the fuel hose connector to the outboard motorPump the primer bulb, and make sure that there are no fuel leaks

9FUEL TANK STRAINER

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosiveYou can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuelKeep heat, sparks, and flame awayWipe spills immediately1) Drain the fuel tank into suitable container
2) Remove the fuel tank hose connector and fuel tank
strainer from the fuel tankPlastic tank: Remove the fuel tank connector by turning it in counterclockwiseSteel tank: Remove the two 18 flange bolts and fiber gaskets, then remove the fuel tank connector and gasket3) Remove any dirt or foreign material from the fuel tank strainer, and check for tears in the strainer meshReplace the strainer if necessary4) Clean the fuel tank with cleaning solvent and allow the fuel tank dry thoroughly
