OIL PRESURE TEST 7) Remove the engine cover and check the engine oil level (Pa3-212) Disconnect the oil pressure switch wire connector

3) Install pressure gauge attachment (special tool) on an oil pressure gauge that has scale calibrated to maxin mum of 196490 kPa (2 2871 psi) to the outboard motorCAUTION: Tighten the adapter the specified torqueovertighten the adapter avoid damaging the threads of the crankcaseTORQUE: (0.8 kgf-m, 5.8 )
4) Run the outboard motor in an outboard test tank with the water at least inches above the antiventilation plateAllow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature (engine oil temperature 80C1760F)

OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

Engine exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas that can cause unconsciousnessand deathtf the engine must be running, make sure the area is well ventilated,
