6TROUBLESHOOTING aENGINE
Hard Starting
1.Check the fuel level in the tank,
No fuel in the tank
Add fuelCheck for collapsed or pinched fuel lineCheck for clogged fuel tank breather holeClose the tank and open the vent knob, listen for hissCheck for air leaks past primer bulbsqueeze the primer bulb and be sure that the fuel is reaching the motorCheck for clogged fuel filter, fuel tubes and connectorCheck the fuel pump
Sufficient fuel in the tank
2.Loosen the carburetor drain screw and check whether fuel reached the carburetorReaching the carburetor
Not reaching the carburetor
3.Rernove the spark plugs and check for wet or fouled electrode
Check for blockage in the carburetor port and nozzle
