1) Suspend the thermostat in heated water2) Measure water temperature and valve liftWater Temperature aelow 60C (140F) Above 70C (158F) NOTE Between 60C and 700C, the valve mayor may not operateIn either case, it is not malfunctionThermostats not complying with the figures listed above should be replaced with new partsValve Lift Omm 3-4 mm (0.12-0.16 in)
