CONSTRUCTION AND FUNCTION Float chamber: Fuel from the fuel pump flows past the valve seat (20) and float valve (21) into the float chamberThe float (22) then moves up and pushes the float valve onto the seat with the float arm (23)This shuts off the fuel inlet clearance between the valve and valve seatNew fuel can not flow into the carburetor to float chamberIf the fuel level is lowered, the float moves downallowing the valve to move away from the valve seatIn this way, constant fuel level is maintained in the float chamber ._-_._
