DISASSEMBLY AND SERVICE 9Attach the throttle control cable (1) to the inside, and the shift control cable (2) to the outside of the bracket using cable clamps (3) and 10 mm bolts (4) NOTE: Align the outer clamp inner lug with the cable outer grooveCut the hole in oil case grommet and install the throttle control cable through it
1O.lnstall the pivots (1) on the cables, then insert pivots into the shift lever (2) mounting hole (shift side) and the throttle arm (3) mounting hole (throttle side)Secure with lock pins (4)Ivot settmg position
11.with the throttle (1) fully closedset the shift lever (2) in NEUTALThe remote control unit can now be removedBefore using the remote controlbe sure that the throttle does not move until the shift lever is fully in gearIf the throttle moves during shifting, the engine will rev and the gears will be stripped
