6FUEL TANK FILTER
ditionsDo not smoke or allow flames or sparks near the equipment while draining fuelAlways work in well-ventilated area
1) Remove the fuel line connector by removing the two bolts2) Remove the fuel filter from the end of the fuel pick-up pipe and clean it3) Install the fuel filter screen and fuel line connector and tighten the bolts secure1y

WITH TEST PROPELLER 1) Install test propeller on the propeller shaft and mount the outboard motor in water tank with the water level least inches about the anti-cavitation plate2) Start the engine and let it idle until it reaches normal operating temperatwe3) Move the shift lever to the "FORWARD" position and turn the throttle stop screw in or out necessary until the specis fied idle speed is obtained
