3) With the control lever the "N" (Neutral) position, be sure that the pivot roller center is alignment with the alignment marks on the throttle cam
SHIFT CONTROL CABLE ADJUSTMENT
1) Disconnect the shift control cable from the shift arm
ALIGNMENT MARKS

PIVOT ROLLER

2) Set the shift lever in the "R" (reverse) position and check whether the click roller is in the "R" position of the shift link BCLICK ROLLER

THROTTLE CAM -

REVERSE (R) THROTTLE ARM SHIFT LINK 3) If the click roller is out of the specified position, loosen the lock nut on the shift rod and adjust turning the adjusting nut until the click roller comes the "R" position of the shift link B4) After adjustment, tighten the lock nut securely

4) If the pivot roller center is out of alignment with the alignment marks, remove the throttle rod from the throttle cam and adjust by loosening the lock nut and turning the linkage pivot (see page 24)5) After adjustment, tighten the lock nut and install the

throttle rod on the throttle cam (see page 24)6) Check the steps 1) and 3)If the conditions of the steps 1) and 3) are not satisfied, readjust, 7) Check whether the control lever moves smoothly and the carburetor throttle link moves smoothly from the full close to the full open positions
