1) Remove the cap from the tilting shaft2) Pass the steering guide cable through the tilting shaft and tighten the cap nutInstall the outboard motor on the hull BALL-POST TYPE Connect the steering guide cable the outer hole in the steering link plate
NOTE: Before installing the steering guide cable, apply marine grease to the sliding surface of the cable and the inner side of the cap assembly and cap nutSTEERING GUIDE CABLE

3) Apply the marine grease the collar and the sliding surface of the steering rod4) Attach the steering the inner hole e
steering link plate and loosely tighten it with the 31824 UNF bolt, washer, collar, nut and the self-locking nut5) Connect the steering rod to the steering guide cable with the 10 mm washers and self-locking nut6) Tighten the self-locking nuts the specified torqueTorque: 18 N-rn(1.8 kgf-m, 13 Ibf-ft)
