cCLEANING CAUTION Some commercially available chemical cleaners are causticThese cleaners may damage plastic parts such O-rings, float and float valveCheck the container for instructionsIf you are in doubt, do not use these products to clean carburetorHigh air pressure may damage the carburetorUse low pressure setting when cleaning the passages and parts1) Clean the carburetor body, removed parts and float chamber with cleaning solvent2) Use low air pressure and blow off the removed jets, nozzles and passages of the carburetor body and float chamber

Float Level Height
Place the carburetor as shown and measure the distance between the float top and carburetor body when the float just contacts the seat without compressing the valve springStandard float height BF40A: 14 mm (0.55in) BF50A: 13 mm (0.51 in)
