Shim combination To bring the total thickness of the shim 0.55 rnrn (0.022 in), the correct combination of the gear shims should be four gear shims and one gear shim 6,or the combination of one gear shim A, B, and respectively FORWARD GEAR SHIM
1) Set the 32 58 mrn bearing on the special tool as shownTOOL: Bearing height gauge

2) Measure the clearance between the upper and lower part of the special tool (clearance A) using feeler gauge3) Obtain the calculation value by subtracting 0.5 mm (0.02 in) from the measured clearance AExample: When the clearance is 0.3 (0.01 in); 0.3 0.5-0.2 Therefore, the calculation value is -0.2 (-0.008 in)-
