FUEL TANK STRAINER Gasoline is flammable and is explosive under certain conditionsDo not smoke or allow flames or sparks near the outboard motor while draining fuelAlways work in well-ventilated areaBe sure that any fuel drained from the outboard motor is stored in safe container

FUEL TANK STRAINER

1) Drain the fuel tank2) Remove the fuel joint and fuel tank strainerRemove dust and foreign matter from the fuel tank strainer, and check for tears
CARBURETOR
Idle Speed
With no (Shift lever in neutral)
1) Remove the propeller, and place the outboard motor in water tank with the water level at least inches above the anti-cavitation plateA water tank is not required if hose is connected from water faucet the outboard motor, using hose joint (optional part)Remove the engine coverCAUTION Running the engine without water can cause serious engine damage due to overheatingBe sure that water flows from the water check hole while the engine is runningIf not, stop the engine and determine the cause of the problemKeep clear of moving parts2) After the engine speed has stabilized, turn and adjust the throttle stop screw achieve the specified idle speed
