GEAR OIL GEAR OIL LEVEL CHECK Check the oil level when the engine is in the vertical positionRemove the oil check bolt and see if oil flows outIf no oil comes out, fill through the drain plug bolt hole until the oil starts flow out through the oil check bolt holeGEAR OIL REPLACEMENT Remove the oil check bolt and drain plug bolt to drain the oilInject oil through the drain plug bolt hole until it starts flowing out through the oil check bolt holeReinstall and tighten the oil check bolt and drain plug bolt securely

0.52 (0.550 US qt, 0.458 Imp qt

Recommended gear oil

SAE gearoil or equivalent, API Service Classification (GL-4 or GL-5)

Be sure that the water is not mixed with the gear oilIf the water is mixed in the oil, check the gasket and water seal for damage and check the gear case for tightening
[11 OIL BOTTLE

SPARK PLUGS
1) Remove the engine cover and spark plug caps2) Clean any dirt from around the spark plug bases3)Use spark plug wrench to remove the spark plugs4) Visually inspect the spark plugDiscard the plugs if the insulators are cracked or chipped5Remove carbon or other deposits with stiff wire brush6Measure the plug gap with wire-type feeler gauge
