REMOTE CONTROL BOX INSTALLATION
After the control cable installation and adjustment, install the control box1Put the control lever in the neutral position
OPERATIONAL CHECK
Before checking the operation of the remote control cables, make sure that the cables are correctly adjusted and that there are no kinks or sharp bends in the cablesOperate the remote control lever and verify that the control cables move smoothly
2Install the control box at the selected mounting location (refer to 14 of 27)Apply one or two drops of Hondalock (PN 08713-0002) to the threads of the nutsTighten the nuts securelyCONTROL BOX
Shift Control Cable
1Move the remote control lever approximately 3' from neutral or until it just engages forward gearVerify that the click roller is in groove of shift link (refer to 20 of 27)2Then move the control lever to full throttle position in the forward gear positionVerify that the throttle is actuated and the carburetor throttle lever is in the fully-open position
