Connect the steering cable to the forward hole on the steering plateSecure with self-locking nut
FINAL MOTOR INSTALLATION
Verify that the motor height is correctThe anti-ventilation plate should be even with the lowest point on the keelThe motor can be raised by using lower set of upper mounting holesIf applicable, secure the motor to the transom using the optional Mounting BoltNut Kit PN 06413-ZV7-000 or use commercially available stainless steel bolts, selflocking nuts and washersThe bolts must have sufficient thread length to tighten down against the transom and have two or three threads past the end of the self-locking nut34INCH or 10 mm !
