Gas Assisted Damper Disposal
CAUTION Do not heat the gas assisted damper assembly, or it will explodeThe gas assisted damper assembly contains nitrogen gas and oil under high pressureDo not disassemble the gas assisted damper assemblyOil escaping under high pressure may cause serious personal injuryDispose of the gas assisted damper assembly after releasing gas from it in the following procedure1) Set the tilt lever in the "TILT" position with the piston rod of the gas assisted damper assembly fully extended,
2) Wrap the gas assisted damper assembly inside plastic bag and hold it upright in vice as shown[3] mm SELF-LOCKING NUT
