Adjustment
Adjust the shift rod (P3-13 of the base shop manual)Set the shift lever in the "Neutral1'position and disconnect the shift cable from the shift link BSet the shift lever in the "Neutral" position and move it few times within the range of playCheck again that the shift link is in the "NeutraI1l positionLoosen the shift pivot lock nutTurn the shift pivot and adjust the shift cable length so that the shift pivot can be set on the shift link smoothlyAfter adjustment, tighten the lock nut securelyInstall the shift pivot on the shift link BOperate the shift lever and be sure that the shift link sets in each position smoothly
