FORWARD GEAR SHIM SELECTION
1) Clean the special tool and bearingSet the 32 58 17 mm bearing on the special tool as shown
BEARING HEIGHT GAUGE 07LPJ -ZV30200
TOOL: Bearing height gauge
121 32x58x17mm BEARING
2) Rotate the upper part of the special tool full revolutions to center the bearingMeasure the clearance between the upper and lower parts of the special tool (clearance A) using feeler gauge3) Obtain the calculation value by subtracting 0.5 mm (0.02 in) from the measured clearance AExample: When the clearance is 0.3 mm (0.012 in); 0.3-0.5-0.2 Therefore, the calculation value is -0.2 mm- 0.008 in)
4) Cross reference the calculation value and engagement mark located on the bottom water screen installation section of the gear case, and select the shim of the appropriate thickness from the shim selection table
