3) Install the flywheel on the crankshaft by aligning the 25 18 mm special woodruff key4) Install and hand tighten the 16 mm special nutCAUTION starter ring gear can become sharpAvoid hand contact with the starter stopper collar or flywheel ring gearHold the upper portion of the flywheel when rotating the engineTo avoid water pump impeller damage, always turn the crankshaft in clockwise direction
51 Check and align the flywheel" timing mark with theI" timing mark on top of the flywheel cover or recoil starter mounting boss6) Remove the flywheel with care not to change the timing mark alignmentL
RECOIL STARTER MOUNTING BOSS
7) Install the timing belt on the timing pulley first, then over the
cam pulley, and last over the tensioner pulleyAfter installing the timing belt, proceed to the timing belt adjustment procedure
