Throttle rod length adjustment:
The throttle rod length adjustment must be performed after adjusting the throttle cable1) Move the gearshift lever the "F" position2) Turn the throttle grip the full-open position, and confirm that the throttle arm contacts the full-open position stopper on the throttle cable bracket (P3-11)
3) Be sure that the carburetor throttle lever contacts the full open position stopper on the No3 carburetor4) If the carburetor throttle lever does not contact the stopper, loosen the throttle rod lock nut and adjust the throttle rod length by turning the throttle rod pivotPerform the linkage pivot assembly procedure before tightening the lock nutTighten the lock nut securely (P.4-21
