4) Move the diaphragm up or down slowly until the clearance between the assist plate and throttle opener cam is 6.3 mm (0.25 in)While holding the clearance, tighten the 16 mrn torx bolts using the special toolsAttach the throttle rod the throttle camTOOLS: Torx bit handle Screw T30H OPENER CAM [2] DIAPHRAGM l6mm
11THROTTLE LINKAGE ADJUSTMENT (REMOTE CONTROL TYPE)
Throttle rod length adjustment: Disconnect the remote control throttle cable from the throttle armMove the throttle arm the fully open position and be sure that the arm contacts the full open position stopperCheck that the throttle cam is also at the full open positionIf either the throttle arm or the throttle cam is not at the full open position, adjust as followsPerform the linkage pivot assembly procedure before tightening the lock nutTighten the lock nut securely (P4-21Loosen the throttle rod pivot lock nut, detach the throttle rod pivot from the throttle cam, and adjust by turning the throttle rod pivotAfter adjustment, move the carburetor throttle lever the fully open position and be sure that there is clearance of mm (0.04 in) or less between the carburetor throttle lever and the fully open position stopper on the No3 carburetorIf the clearance is more than (0.04 in), readjust by turning the throttle rod pivot
