7TROUBLESHOOTING
ENGINE AHARD STARTING
No fuel in the tank
Loosen the carburetor drain screw see if there is fuel in the float bowl
Add fuel and restart the engine
Fuel flow restricted
Fuel flows freely
Check for collapsed or pinched fuel lineCheck for clogged fuel tank breather hole: Close the tank and open the vent knob, listen for hissCheck for air leaks past the primer bulb Squeeze the primer bulb and be sure that the fuel is reaching the carburetorCheck for clogged fuel filter and connectorCheck fuel connectors
