8FUEL FILTER Inspection
1) Remove the engine cover2) Check the fuel filter for water accumulation or sedimentif
water or sediment is found, replace the fuel filter
Replacement
Gasoline highly flammable and explosiveYou can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuelKeep heat, sparks, and flame awayWipe spills immediately1) Remove the right engine under cover (P3-3 and 4)
2) Pinch the fuel tubes at both sides of the fuel filter with two commercially available hose clips3) Disconnect the fuel tubes being careful to prevent fuel leakage and remove the fuel filter with filter suspension attached4) Remove the fuel filter from the filter suspension and discards the fuel filter5) Install new fuel filter into the filter suspension so the arrow mark points same direction as shown[2] FUEL FILTER (With filter suspension attached)
