Transom Drilling
Verify that no damage will occur when the motor mounting holes are drilledLook for any structural impediments such as bulkheads, braces, fuel cells, bilge pumps, or floor sections before drillingEnsure that there is adequate space for the bolt and washer to bear on flat surfaceUse the TRANSOM MOUNT DRILL FIXTURE (special tool PIN 07MPZ-ZV3010B) as drill guideWear safety glasses and drill four 112-inch holes in the transomThe upper holes must be at least inch (25 mm) below the transom top edgeThis distance will be achieved when the TRANSOM MOUNT DRILL FIXTURE is positioned on the transom top edgeUse vacuum cleaner to clean up after drillingUnit: mm (in)
