3) Determine the calculation value using the bearing height (distance F) and the following formulaFormula: Bearing height (distance F)21.5Calculation value Example: When bearing height (distance F) is 21.55 (0.848 in)21.5521.50.05 Therefore, the calculation value is 0.05 (0.002 in)
4) Cross reference the calculation value and the engagement mark located on the trim tab installation part of the gear case, and select the shim the appropriate thickness from the shim selection table accordinglyShim type table
