of injection amount
Basic injection amount: The basic fuel injection duration, which is determined by engine speed and intake manifold vacuum to be optimum for the running condition, is stored in the ECMThe optimum fuel injection duration for the environmental condition is determined by compensating the basic injection duration stored in the ECM with the signal from the corresponding sensor and transmitted to the fuel injectors as the voltage pulseBecause the fuel injector functions in constant cycle, the fuel injection amount is determined by the injection durationStartup injection amount: The engine requires more fuel than the basic injection amount when it startsThe basic injection duration is determined by engine temperature for starting, and it is memorized in the ECMThe optimum fuel injection amount for any starting conditions is determined by compensating the basic injection duration stored in the ECM with engine speed, battery voltage, etc0 Compensation of
