cREMOVALINSTALLATION PINION GEAR NUT
REMOVAL:
1) Attach the special tool to the vertical shaft end2) Use shop towel or equivalent cloth to protect the gear case

as shown31 Holding the special tool, remove the pinion gear nut

TOOL: Vertical shaft holder INSTALLATION:
Be sure that the forward bevel gear is mounted properly1) Clean the vertical shaft and the tapered part of the pinion
gear thoroughly with degreasing cleaning agent2) Tighten the pinion gear nut to the specified torque in the
same procedure as of removalTORQUE: 132 Nem (13.5 kgfem, 98 Ibf-ft) [31 PINION GEAR NUT
