FLYWHEEL BOSSIFLYWHEEL REMOVAL:
1) Set the special tool on the starter motor mounting position
21 STARTER MOTOR MOUNTING BOLT
2) Tighten the two starter motor mounting bolts (10 35 mm
flange bolts), and remove the flywheel boss and the flywheelTOOL: Ring gear holder-
INSTALLATION:
1) Clean the mating surfaces between the crankshaft and the
flywheel with degreasing cleaning agent, and set the flywheel on the crankshaft

2) Apply engine oil to the seat and the threaded part of the 12
mm bolt3) Loosely tighten the eight 12 mm boltsInstall the special tool used for the flywheel bossflywheel removal on the starter motor mounting positionTOOL: Ring gear holder
4) Tighten the bolts in the numbered sequence shown
Tighten them in two or three steps to the specified torqueTORQUE: 11 (12.0 kgfm, 87 lbfeft)
5) Clean the mating surfaces between the flywheel and the flywheel boss with degreasing cleaning agent, and set the flywheel boss on the flywheel6) Apply engine oil to the seat and the threaded part of the mm special boltTOOL: Ring gear holder
