cALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY INSPECTION (With the alternator assembly mounted on the outboard motor)
CAUTION:
1 Do not disconnect the battery terminals while the alternator 1
is runningAlternator assembly inspection must be made with the assembly mounted on the outboard motorReplace the regulator when the battery voltage exceeds 16VC Before disconnecting the 90A fuse cable, be sure to disconnect the battery negative (4 terminalCheck for following before starting the alternator assembly inspectionBattery condition and cable connection Alternator belt for looseness, cut andor fraying (f? 3-13) Alternator connector and 90A fuse cable for connection Blown 90A fuse and 10A fuse Open or short circuit in each harness and cable
1) Turn the ignition switch to ON and check whether the
