Replace the sealing washers with new ones1) Set the two insulators on the fuel pump unit and secure with
131The insulator mating part must not be in this range
the two grommets
2) Hold the fuel pump unit with the positive (+I side of the wire toward up when viewing the fuel pipe installation part of the pump unit from the front sideHold the fuel pump unit at the angle where the insulator mating part does not contact the bottom of the vapor separator when viewing the fuel tube installation part of the fuel pump unit from the front side as shown

3) Holdingthe fuel pump unit securely, so that it does not come out of position (explainedin stepinstall the two fuel pump bands and loosely tighten the two 14 mm flange bolts4) Clean the flare nut joint part of the fuel pipeInstall new 12 mm sealing washers on the fuel pump unit, and loosely tighten the 12 mm sealing nut A
