FUEL INJECTORS
INSPECTION: When the engine is hard start: 1) Disconnect the fuel injector connector2) Measure the resistance between the fuel injector terminals
FUEL INJECTOR
When the measurement is outside the specification, replace the fuel injector (P5-59)If the fuel injector is normal, check the following partsIf they are checked out all right, replace the ECM (P5-11)- Fl30A fuse
- Main relay
- Brown wire and blue wire between the fuel injector and
ECM for short,open circuit and connection
- Yellowblack wire between the fuel injector and ECM for
open or short circuitWhen the engine starts: 1) With the engine idling, disconnect the fuel injector connector of each cylinder and check the idle speed change and idling stabilityThe fuel injector is normal when the idling condition changesIf the idling condition does not change when the fuel injector connector is disconnected, replace the fuel injector of the cylinder and recheck the idling condition
