cOVERHEAT SENSOR
1: RESISTANCE
MIL blinks 24 times with service check connector shorted (P5-5)1) Reset the ECM (P.5-612) Turn the ignition switch ON3) Check the MIL for the number of blinks
Does the MIL blink 24 times?
Loose connection between the ECM and the overheat sensor connectorConnect securely

1) Turn the ignition switch OFF2) Disconnect the overheat sensor
EXHAUST PORT TEMPERATURE
2P connector and measure the resistance between the two terminals of the overheat sensor3) Check whether the adequate resistance for the exhaust port temperature is available(See I Table
