INSPECTION: Check the following before starting the idling inspeciton- Spark plug gap (P3-5)PCV valve operation (P5-77)MIL must be OFFPlace the outboard motor vertically (with the engine level to the ground), and set the remote control lever the "N" (Neutral) positionRemove the propellerSet the outboard motor gear case in test tank filled with water and start the engineRemove the engine cover (P3-51Wait until the engine speed stabilizes under no load, and check the idle speedSpecified idle speed (At neutral)
