Idling speed is low or trolling speed is highCheck the idle control system and the neutral positionIf it checked out normal, perform the inspection and troubleshooting according to the following flow chart1) Set the lever in the "N" (Neutral) position and start the engine2) Warm up the engine sufficiently and disconnect the neutral switch 2P connectorI Does the engine speed change?
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF2) Connect the test harness to the ECM and the connectorNote that the ECM side 34P connector and the 6P connector must be disconnected this time3) With the neutral switch 2P connector disconnected, check for continuity between the test box's A30 terminal and the body groundIs there continuity? YES
