2ENGINE OIL
Oil Level Inspection: Check the engine oil level with the engine stopped and the outboard motor in the vertical position1) Remove the engine cover
131 DIPSTICK
2) Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean3) Insert the dipstick all the way in, then pull it out and read the oil level4) If the oil level is low, remove the oil filler cap, and add the recommended oil (P3-3) to reach the upper limit mark on the dipstick
[I] OIL FILLER CAP
5) Reinstall the oil filler cap and dipstick
Oil Change: Drain the used oil while the engine is warmWarm oil drains quickly and completely1) Remove the oil filler cap and the drain plug cover
2) Place suitable oil container next to the outboard motor, and remove the oil drain plugPlease dispose of used motor oil in manner that is compatible with the environmentWe suggest you take used oil in sealed container to your local recycling center or service station for reclamationDo not throw it in the trash, pour it on the ground, or down drainCAUTION: Used engine oil contains substances that have been identified as carcinogenicIf repeatedly left contact with the skin for prolonged periods, it may cause skin cancerWash your hands thoroughly with soap and water as soon as possible after contact with used engine oil
